Comprehensive Range of

Laboratory &
Diagnostic Tests

FHS provides a comprehensive range of laboratory and diagnostic tests, covering key areas including haematology, hormones, diabetes, thyroid, cardiac health, liver and kidney function, infectious diseases, reproductive health, vitamins, and more.

Our testing services support accurate diagnosis, preventive health screening, and ongoing health monitoring, with reliable results delivered through professional laboratory services.

Bilirubin, Direct

AED 40

Measures conjugated bilirubin to help assess liver processing and bile flow. Direct bilirubin is the processed fraction of bilirubin. Considering it with other bilirubin fractions and liver tests helps describe the pattern of abnormality, but it cannot independently establish the cause of impaired bile flow.

Bilirubin, Indirect

AED 40

Measures or calculates unconjugated bilirubin to help assess bilirubin metabolism and red blood cell breakdown. Indirect bilirubin is the unprocessed fraction and may be calculated from other bilirubin measurements. Interpretation should consider related liver findings and evidence of red cell breakdown rather than assigning a cause from this value alone.

Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN)

AED 40

Measures urea nitrogen in blood to help assess kidney function and hydration. BUN reflects a waste product rather than directly measuring filtration speed. Because hydration and other clinical factors matter, it should be interpreted with creatinine and the wider kidney assessment.

C-Peptide

AED 180

Measures C-peptide to estimate how much insulin the body produces. C-peptide provides information about the body’s own insulin production rather than simply measuring glucose. Its significance depends on the accompanying glucose level and the clinical reason for assessing insulin secretion.

C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Quantitative

AED 100

Measures CRP, a non-specific marker of inflammation; it does not identify the cause on its own. CRP can show that an inflammatory response is present and can help follow changes over time. It cannot distinguish all possible causes of inflammation, so the result needs symptoms and other investigations for interpretation.

Calcium (Ca)

AED 60

Measures total calcium to assess calcium balance and related bone, kidney or parathyroid disorders. Total calcium includes both bound and unbound calcium. It is different from an ionised calcium measurement, and the result is considered with related mineral, protein and clinical findings rather than as a stand-alone bone-health diagnosis.
