Comprehensive Range of

Laboratory &
Diagnostic Tests

FHS provides a comprehensive range of laboratory and diagnostic tests, covering key areas including haematology, hormones, diabetes, thyroid, cardiac health, liver and kidney function, infectious diseases, reproductive health, vitamins, and more.

Our testing services support accurate diagnosis, preventive health screening, and ongoing health monitoring, with reliable results delivered through professional laboratory services.

Anticardiolipin Antibody, IgM

AED 150.00

Detects IgM antibodies against cardiolipin, used in evaluating antiphospholipid syndrome alongside clinical findings and other tests. This tests the IgM antibody class rather than IgG. The result is interpreted as part of an antiphospholipid evaluation, not as proof of a clotting disorder or an explanation for pregnancy complications on its own.

Antinuclear Antibody (ANA) Screening

AED 200.00

Screens for antibodies against cell nuclei to help evaluate autoimmune disorders; positive results require clinical interpretation. ANA is a broad autoimmune screen rather than a test for one specific disease. If antibodies are detected, further targeted testing may be appropriate; a positive screening result is not itself a diagnosis.

Antiphospholipid Antibody, IgG

AED 150.00

Detects IgG antiphospholipid antibodies; the specific antibody targets depend on the laboratory assay. The label describes an antibody group but does not identify all antigens included in the assay. Confirm the panel components so that the result is not mistaken for a complete antiphospholipid syndrome evaluation.

Antiphospholipid Antibody, IgM

AED 150.00

Detects IgM antiphospholipid antibodies; the specific antibody targets depend on the laboratory assay. This is the IgM component of the listed antiphospholipid antibody assessment. The laboratory’s antigen targets and reporting method must be confirmed before comparing it with other antiphospholipid tests or interpreting it clinically.

Antistreptolysin O (ASO) Titre

AED 120

Measures antibodies to streptolysin O as evidence of a preceding streptococcal infection. ASO measures the immune response to a streptococcal product rather than growing the organism from a throat sample. It therefore addresses evidence of preceding exposure, not direct confirmation of a current throat infection.

Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST/SGOT)

AED 40

Measures an enzyme found in the liver, muscles and other tissues that may rise with tissue injury. AST is not specific to the liver because other tissues also contain the enzyme. Interpretation considers related liver or muscle tests and the clinical history rather than treating an isolated increase as a liver diagnosis.
