Comprehensive Range of
Laboratory &
Diagnostic Tests
FHS provides a comprehensive range of laboratory and diagnostic tests, covering key areas including haematology, hormones, diabetes, thyroid, cardiac health, liver and kidney function, infectious diseases, reproductive health, vitamins, and more.
Our testing services support accurate diagnosis, preventive health screening, and ongoing health monitoring, with reliable results delivered through professional laboratory services.
Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP)
AED 40
Measures an enzyme associated mainly with the liver, bile ducts and bones. Because ALP can come from more than one tissue, a raised result does not locate the source by itself. Related liver tests and bone or mineral measurements help clarify its significance.
Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP)
AED 90.00
Measures AFP, a protein used in selected tumour assessments and prenatal screening; it is not a stand-alone cancer diagnosis. In cancer care, AFP can contribute to assessment of liver and certain ovarian or testicular cancers. Its prenatal use has a different interpretation, so the clinical indication must be clear before reviewing a result.
Amylase
AED 70
Measures an enzyme that digests starch, commonly used in evaluating pancreatic disorders. Amylase is a digestive enzyme measurement, not a direct image of the pancreas. The result is considered with symptoms and other pancreatic investigations; an abnormal value alone does not establish the cause of abdominal symptoms.
Androstenedione (ANST)
AED 250
Measures androstenedione, a precursor of sex hormones, to help assess excess androgen production. This measurement concerns a hormone precursor rather than testosterone itself. It is considered with other androgen measurements and the patient’s age and reproductive context to clarify a possible hormonal imbalance.
Anti-Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide Antibodies (Anti-CCP)
AED 200.00
Detects anti-CCP antibodies to support evaluation of rheumatoid arthritis. The test looks for an autoimmune response rather than measuring joint damage directly. Results support, but do not replace, examination of joint symptoms and other investigations; a negative result does not exclude every form of arthritis.
Anticardiolipin Antibody, IgG
AED 150.00
Detects IgG antibodies against cardiolipin, used in evaluating antiphospholipid syndrome alongside clinical findings and other tests. This is an autoantibody test, not an infection antibody test. A positive IgG result alone does not establish antiphospholipid syndrome; the clinical history, other antibody results and any required repeat testing are important.
